What are our Service Pack batteries and how do they differ from Apple Genuine?
In addition to original batteries that 2Service purchases directly from Apple, Mobileparts.shop also offers Service Pack batteries of the brand 'For iPhone'. At first glance, they may seem different — but the reality is simpler than you might think.
Original batteries, different sourcing
Both regular original batteries and Service Pack batteries are 100% original batteries. They are identical in quality and specifications.
The only difference lies in the purchasing route. While our regular stock is sourced directly from Apple, Service Pack batteries are occasionally made available by official Apple repair partners as part of overstock promotions. In other words: the product itself is exactly the same.
Because these batteries are not purchased directly from Apple, they may not be labeled as “Apple Genuine” and therefore do not carry the Genuine badge and 'Apple' as manufacturer, despite being original products. You can find them by filtering for the brand ‘For iPhone - Service Pack'.
Why are Service Pack batteries cheaper?
Service Pack batteries come from Apple repair partners that have over-ordered inventory. These partners sell surplus stock with little or no margin, and sometimes even at a loss.
Mobileparts.shop passes this price advantage directly on to you as a repair professional.
With or without original packaging
Some Service Pack batteries are supplied without original packaging. These versions are even more competitively priced. The packaging was removed for storage efficiency, as these batteries were not originally intended for resale.
You can recognize the variants easily:
-
xx-SP → Service Pack with original packaging
-
xx-SP-NP → Service Pack without packaging (NP = No Packaging)
Our guarantees
-
Products are identical to the original Apple batteries
-
Guaranteed calibration and recognition as “Genuine” after installation
-
Warranty included (3 months)
